At this workshop, we will make an Ikenobo Free Style arrangement.

Things to bring:

    Vase/Container - Any type, but not huge. 

    Kenzan or Oasis – Kenzan that fits your container. Or if you would like to use oasis, use only half a block.

    Ikebana scissors/hasami

Floral materials will be provided. ​

​

For refreshments, it is going to be a potluck, so please bring something to share. We will provide coffee and fruit.

​

Board members will be there by 8:45am. If you can arrive early to help us set up the room, we would appreciate it. After the meeting, we will need help with clearing the room as well. Please pitch in wherever possible.

Pre-meeting Social Time: 9:30am - 10:00am

Meeting and Workshop Time: 10:00am - 12:00pm

Location: Palm Room at Los Angeles County Arboretum and Botanic Garden, 301 N. Baldwin Ave., Arcadia, CA 91007. Free admission for Ikebana International members with your I.I. membership card. ​
 

Maximum capacity: 30 people. Please no walk-ins as material must be purchased ahead of time.
