Dear Ikebana International Los Angeles, Chapter No. 4 Members and Friends,
On Sunday, February 19th at 11:00 am, at the USC Pacific Asia Museum, located in Pasadena, CA attend a workshop by Ohara School, Los Angeles and facilitated by Mayumi Onami Sensei.
The Workshop is Titled: “Landscape Moribana Realistic Method”
Mayumi Onami Sensei will demonstrate how to make a landscape arrangement in a realistic method. This is one of Ohara schools signature arrangements which is freestyle and taught for students in an advanced level. A landscape arrangement creates a fictitious natural view in a limited space of container. The purpose is to express scenic beauty realistically. We will then be able to have an understanding of the natural growth environment and seasonal aspect of the material. Read a profile about Mayumi below >>
