Membership Information
Ikebana International Los Angeles, Chapter #4 creates space for Ikebana students and teachers from different Ikebana schools across Southern California to foster "Friendship through Flowers" online and in-person. Experience a variety of methods to flower arranging and Japanese culture.
We typically meet on the third Sunday of the month. Some membership benefits are listed below. We hope you join us.
Monthly Meetings
Participate in monthly workshops, lead by a different Ikebana school. Attend additional programs with demonstrations, opportunity for hands-on experience and engage socially with members.
"Friendship Through Flowers"
Expand your social circles and floral arranging skills beyond your Ikebana school. Connect with likeminded people who love flowers, gardens and Japanese culture.
Public Exhibitions and
Flower Shows
Members have the opportunity to exhibit their arrangements in public exhibitions. Currently our annual Flower Show is held at the Los Angeles County Arboretum.
LA Chapter Newsletter
The Los Angeles, Chapter No. 4 Newsletter – A monthly publication that reports on Chapter news, business, events and activities. It is emailed to all members and mailed to our members who request it.
Ikebana International Magazine
Three times a year receive a sophisticated publication, printed on glossy paper, richly illustrated with color plates of ikebana-related topics and other cultural arts of Japan.
Friends Worldwide
Eligible to join Ikebana International’s 161 chapters worldwide. Participate in chapters’ meetings, enjoy Ikebana demonstrations, exhibitions, workshops, and more when you travel.
