October 16th, 2022:
Workshop by Sogetsu School, LA - Join Kaz Kitajima Sensei for a succulent planting workshop. We will design (8) eight types of succulents and plant them in pots. It will be a fun workshop that can be displayed on the patio or indoors.
Upcoming Events
Ikebana International Los Angeles, Chapter #4 meets monthly from September through June. Our meetings, workshops, and demonstrations highlight local, national, and international teachers from multiple Ikebana schools. Annually we hold a Floral Exhibition showcasing Ikebana, Japanese flower arrangements from our membership.
We typically meet on the third Sunday of the month. Some membership benefits are listed below. We hope you join us.
Monthly Chapter Meetings
Our chapter meets monthly from September through June. Our meetings, workshops, and demonstrations highlight local, national, and international teachers from multiple schools of ikebana.
Annual Katen
Our chapter hosts an Annual Spring Ikebana Exhibition, a Katen each year. Members gather to show their floral artworks over a weekend. Guests experience arrangements representing different schools / ikebana-styles in one room.
June 18th, 2023:
Attend the last chapter meeting for the 2022 - 2023 season, aka Sayonara party. Watch a demonstration by Ikenobo School, Los Angeles Branch members Fukuyo Tanaka and Jessica Tang.
